A large and quite modern distillery designed solely to create whisky for blends. It has never been bottled officially and doesn't always carry a great reputation. However, while it is a relatively inoffensive whisky - light-bodied with pleasing fruitiness and gentle cereal notes - there are plenty perfectly quaffable independent bottlings out there. In fact bottlings of it are quite numerous so it's one that is worth trying from time to time.
