We remember in the early 80's (when this was bottled) the very smooth and complex Oban 14 was the geek alternative to the Macallan which was everywhere, a very nutty spirit with a full body. This is an Oban distilled in the early 70's... can you think how much such an Oban would cost you if released now by the Distillery?
