Nose: amazing, like an old leather suitcase you open for the first time since fifty years: old leather, wax, old books… Develops on beehive, cod oil, burnt cake and lots of peat and smoke.
Mouth: so peaty, so complex! Bunches of tropical fruits, dried orange, pine resin. It’s almost as bold and smoky as a current 10 yo Talisker. Simply stunning. 96 points
