Glen Flagler
Glen Flagler was produced - along with the even rarer Killyloch - at the Moffat Grain distillery between 1965 and 1985. It was bottled as a single malt and as a pure malt for a number of years from the early 1970s into the 1980s and 1990s. The character is relatively unknown, although some bottlings of it as a single malt have shown a nervous mineral smokiness and resinous qualities. There are some sought after single cask bottlings from 1972 by Signatory as well. Nowadays it is often an expensive dram and one of the more enigmatic of Scotland's lost distillates.
