One of Scotland's more recent distilleries, founded in 1995 it is now coming to full maturity. The make is gentle for an Island malt but a verity of styles have been produced with some excellent peated batches and some truly great examples made using Bere Barley as well. The best examples are generally the single casks of which there are many offering a range of stylistic differences. For a benchmark example the 12 year old Cask Strength or the 16 year old are excellent choices.
